Interview with the Vampire, the chronicle of a long life

Interview with the Vampire
is a 1994 movie directed by Neil Jordan.

A nowadays journalist (the nowadays of when the movie was released of

course) records the life of a vampire in a hotel room.

Louis de Pointe du Lac, played by Brad Pitt, is a vampire old of a few

centuries from a wealthy family of Louisiana (his family was a slave holder

one and earned a lot of money from that).

He was in a depressive state when he met Lestat de Lioncourt, played by

Tom Cruise, a vampire who enjoys having a life of lust and Lestat turns

Louis into a vampire.

They live together for a few centuries and even adopt an orphan girl that

Louis started to turn to but without being able to finish the job (the

pussycat) so Lestat finished the job. The three of them travel throughout

the United States.

Louis and Claudia, played by Kristen Dust, after leaving Lestat for dead

(because he's an asshole, I wonder how Louis handled him for SO long), and

travel through Europe.

Claudia was killed by French vampires after they learned that Louis killed

Lestat so Louis ran back to the United States.

I love this movie (because vampires) it is well written, the screening is

well done too.

5/5 it is one of my favorite movies so...
