Corpse Bride
Corpse Bride is a 2005 animated movie directed by Tim Burton
.
Victor Van Dort, the son of a newly rich family, is promised to Victoria
Everglot, daughter of a ruined noble family.
Victor and Victoria fell in love at first sight and Vitor is really
stressed by the wedding.
While training himself to say his wedding vows for the D-Day he got married
by carelessness to Emily, a dead bride who brings him in the underworld.
Victor can't forget Victoria but also doesn't want to neglect Emily and
tries to warn his future, and alive, wife of the actual situation but Emily
got angry that there's another woman, not knowing that she's the other
woman.
Meanwhile Lord Barkis Bittern takes advantage of the situation and tries to
marry Victoria and earn money from this marriage due to the status of her
family, obviously not knowing that Victoria's family is ruined.
Victor and Emily get married to end the bride's torments but Victoria
arrives discreetly; Emily sees her and stops Victor to drink the poison
because she doesn't want to steal the happiness that was taken from her to
another.
Lord Barkis arrives and sees Emily, she realizes that he killed her and
while making fun of the dead woman for her folishness he drinks the poison
and dies. This action frees Emily of her torments and leaves Victor and
Emily to have their wedding together and be happy.
I love this cartoon, the vibe and even the story. It shows how some people
are ready to do anything for money but also shows that trying to be honest
in a harsh situation can bring some truth that weren't expected and solve
some issues.
5/5 This cartoon is perfect (do not watch it with too young children they
might not get the whole story).
See you next week for the next article. We can even share a raclette together.
