Titanic or the come back of the unsinkable ship

Titanic was released in 1997 by James Cameron and I took my chance to see it in theaters for the 25th birthday of the movie earlier this year.

In this movie we follow the story of Rose DeWitt, played by Kate Winslet, who tells what happened to her during her journey in the liner to those who do research on the liner. Rose proclaims to be the Lady drew on the drawing that they found and she wants them to believe her and tell them what happened.

She says that she is an aristocrat who just lost all her money after her father's death due to his depths and to not have to work her mother wants her to marry a violent and restricting rich man.

Rose knew that she hadn't had a way to escape and knew that her life was already written and tried to commit suicide by jumping off the ship because this life wasn't made for her but Jack Dawson, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, a third class passenger who had an extreme luck to be able to get in the boat by playing poker saved her life.

This meeting completely changed Rose's life; thanks to Jack she was able to see life from another angle and live a fragment of how the third class was living and make her reborn.

Of course Rose's fincé didn't see this relationship from this angle and tried to kill Jack by trying to let him on the liner but Rose saved him. Jack died in front of Rose (even if could have a chance to survive by coming on the door too).

Even if this personal story is probably created by James Cameron he used an historical event to make his movie and make this event known by a large public because it was extremely deadly due to the cold and he wanted us to remember those passengers who didn't make it.

5/5 This movie is great, everybody knows it even if they didn't watch it, it is a classic. Even if the movie is long the rhythm is never broken which makes the movie easier to watch.

See you next week for the next article.
